Origin:
Most of this information originates directly from surviving descendants of Mikao
Usui that live and work in Japan as well as from one of Chujiro Hayashi's
students, Tatsumi, who died in 1996 at an age of over 90 years. This information
does not originate from Mrs. Takata or Any of the Western lineage. The whole
system is driven solely by the intent of the practitioner who has at his/her
disposal a number of 'tools' that affect the way the energy is directed. The
original purpose of the Usui healing system was to heal the whole person (body,
mind and spirit). It treats the SELF and then may be used to treat others
through the self. The system has no connection whatsoever with Indo-Tibetan
energy work or Tibetan vajrayana Buddhism.
